WINONA, Minn. - Eight members of the Winona State University football team earned spots on the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team announced on Tuesday.   

Representing Warrior football on the 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team:

• Jacob Scott a senior from Flower Mound, Texas. 
• Conner Haggerty a redshirt junior from Onalaska, Wis. 
• David Nies a redshirt sophomore from Patch Grove, Wis. 
• Colton Geurink a redshirt sophomore from Wausau, Wis. 
• Trey Borske a redshirt junior from Naperville, Ill. 
• Cole Stenstrom a senior from Arden Hills, Minn. 
• Joseph Demro a junior from Plymouth, Minn. 
• *Noah Pappas a junior from Plymouth, Minn.  

The 2024 Academic All-District football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-American program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.   

Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 28, 2025.
