Edmond, Okla. – Winona State women's golf finished sixth at the Grace Shin Invite, hosted by Central Oklahoma.
The Warriors carded rounds of 301 and 299 to finish sixth overall and first among all NSIC teams competing in the event. Central Missouri won the event with a two-round score of 580.
Kelby Anderson led the Warriors with a top 20 finish, shooting a 77 (+6) on the opening day and firing a 70 (-1) the second round to total a score of 147 for the tournament.
Lindsey Lund was the next Warrior, finishing inside the top 30 with scores of 74 (+3) and 77 (+6).
Kessa Mara was just one stroke back after shooting a 152 (+10) for the event.
Megan Young and
Georgia Volley rounded out the WSU lineup as Young had impressive opening round of 73 (+2) followed up by an 81 (+10) in round two. Volley carded a tournament total of 155 (+13).
Winona State is next in action on Monday, October 13th as they compete at the Sioux Falls Invitational.
