WINONA, Minn. – Winona State struggled to keep up with their #22 nationally ranked opponent falling 3-0 against Northern State.
Winona State was unable to get the offense in motion losing in a 3-0 sweep fashion with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 25-20.
How it Happened:
The Warrior defense stayed true, not allowing the Wolves to reach a hitting percentage of over .210 on the match. Winona State struggled to get the offense going collecting 31 total errors and an overall hitting percentage of -.015.
This was the worst hitting percentage collected by the Warriors this season and #22 Northern State took advantage. NSU hit only .168 from the field and just edged out WSU in all statistical categories. Northern State would ultimately finish the match with a 3-0 sweep.
