BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Two Winona State football student-athletes were named to the 2025 NSIC All-Conference Teams, as announced by the league today.
 
Conner Haggerty (DL) was named to the First Team All-NSIC South Division while Blake Schraufnagel (LB) earned Second Team All-NSIC South Division honors.
 
Haggerty, a senior from Onalaska, Wis., was T-first in the NSIC with seven sacks and second in the conference with three forced fumbles. Haggerty started all 11 games with the Warriors and spearheaded the defensive unit that led the NSIC with 34 sacks. In addition, he led WSU with 8.5 TFLs and recorded 41 tackles on the 2025 campaign.

Schraufnagel, a sophomore from Mayville, Wis., tallied a team-high 73 tackles (40 solo) with seven TFLs and one sack. Schraufnagel also collected three pass break ups while starting all 11 games during the 2025 season.

The Warriors finished the 2025 season with a 6-5 overall record and a 6-4 NSIC record. Winona State went 5-0 at home and recorded their first winning season since 2022.
