BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Two Warriors tab NSIC player of the week awards. Senior forward Sarah Strating earns NSIC Offensive Player of the Week and Sophomore goalkeeper Abigail Rounds earns Goalkeeper of the week.

Strating a senior forward from Lino Lakes Minn. earns NSIC Offensive Player of the Week honors with an incredible weekend of offensive prowess. Scoring two goals in wins over NSIC opponents SMSU and USF. She notched the game-winning-goal in both matches. Strating tallied 10 shots on the weekend, with four on goal. She picked up one assist against USF to finish with five points on the week. 

Rounds a sophomore goalkeeper out of Mundelein, Ill. earns NISC Goalkeeper of the Week honors. Rounds standout defense was nothing shy of the standard this past week. Rounds led the Warriors to shutout wins over conference opponents SMSU and USF. She had seven saves on the weekend, with four against USF. Rounds faced and staved off five corner kicks between both matches. 

Winona State (6-5-3 NSIC) is back in action this Thursday, Novembver 6th against the CSP Golden Bears at Concordia St. Paul at 6pm.
