BURNSVILLE, Minn. - Winona State University Softball student-athlete
Braelee Jodarski earned Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Softball Player of the Week after having impressive performances against Grand View University and William Jewell College.
Jodarski, a freshman from Oshkosh, Wis., had a .500 batting average after two doubleheaders against Grand View and William Jewell with six hits and 12 at bats. Against the Vikings and the Cardinals, Jodarski had a 1.500 slugging percentage after hitting four homeruns, which plated 12 runs and she was able to cross home plate six times. In first game of the doubleheader against William Jewell, Jodarski went four for four at the plate hitting three homeruns, collected nine RBIs and crossed the plate herself four times, which she was able to collect a batting average of .556. in that game.
With Jordarski's performance in the Grand View and William Jewell games, Braelee was listed as one of the Selected Top Performances in the 2025 Louisville Slugger/Wilson DII Weekly Honors.
Jodarski and the rest of the Winona State softball team will be making the trip down to Rosemont, Ill. for the Lewis Dome Invitational, where the Warriors will play Grand Valley State, William Jewell, Purdue Northwest, and Lewis University Saturday, February 22 through Sunday, February 23. First game is set to start at 9 a.m. against Grand Valley State.
