LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Winona State University track & field team made a successful short road trip down to UW-La Crosse for the Mark Guthrie Invite this afternoon.
First in the one mile run,
Mara Talabac took third place with a time of 5:18.58 coming just seconds behind the second-place runner.
Jenna Anders and Mady Dockendorf also finished inside the top 10.
Hanna Reichenberger finished sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.99. In the 400m race,
Regan Feit took second place with a time of 56.72, only .10 seconds behind the first place finisher form UWL.
Samantha Harke finished with a time of 2:19.59 in the 800 meters to finish eight overall.
Kylie Anderson took first place in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:52.72, finishing a full second in front of the second-place finisher from UW-La Crosse.
McKenna Taylor earned seventh pace in the same event with a time of 10:19.82.
Mari Mohling tied for seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.55 meters. In the long jump,
MacKenzie Wissbroecker finished in first place with a distance of 5.97m and broke the meet record.
Hanna Reichenberger finished in second place in the triple jump with a distance of 11.62, only .19m short of the first place finisher from UWL.
Winona State will be in action next weekend at the Maverick Premier Meet hosted by Minnesota State, Mankato.
