WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University women's tennis team traveled to Sioux Falls, S.D. to face off against Augustana University dropping the contest 6-1. 

Doubles Action: 
Winona State fought the doubles action against the Vikings with Skylar Gary and Miranda Daulong competing hard at the No. 2 doubles, but eventually dropping the match 6-3. No. 1 doubles and No. 3 doubles would fight as well, dropping their contests with Augustana taking the doubles point. 

Singles Action: 
Lainy Ristau competed at the No. 1 singles against Nicole Dufour of Augustana, making it one of the closer matches of the contest, with AU taking the point winning 6-2, 6-1. Gary competed at the No. 2 singles earning the same results 6-3, 6-1, dropping her match as well. Clara Thoemke was the only Warrior to win a set against the Vikings in the No. 4 singles spot, taking the first set 6-3, but eventually dropping the match against Chelsea Seidewitz. 

The Warriors are next in action on Saturday, March 29 against the University of Sioux Falls at 4pm in Sioux Falls, S.D. to conclude their NSIC weekend.
