WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University baseball team will head to Tucson, Ariz. to play in the Tucson Invitational Games over spring break, with their first game set for Friday, March 7 at 5:00pm MST against Dickinson State.
WSU will play against Dickinson State, Northern State University, Minot State University, Southwest Minnesota State University, Park University Gilbert, Macalester College, and Augsburg University (MN) starting Friday, March 7 and going through Tuesday, March 18.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors are 1-1 going into the Tucson Invitational.
- Payton Beyer and Klayton Hawkins lead the team with a 1.000 batting average and an on-base percentage of 1.000.
- Jack Funke leads the way with two home runs in six at-bats.
