The Winona State University women's tennis team heads to Orlando, Florida where they have five matches in six days for their 2025 Spring Break trip.
WSU holds a 1-3 record so far in spring play having defeated St. Cloud State University 4-3 and dropping their contests against the University of Mary and Minnesota State University Moorhead the following weekend. Clara Thoemke holds a 3-0 record in singles play so far this season to lead the Warriors while also holding a 2-0 record in doubles action.
The Warriors are slated to face off against Slippery Rock University at 11am EST / 10am CST on Sunday, March 9 to start off their trip. Going into the contest, Slippery Rock holds a 2-3 record on the year so far.
Following the match against SRU, Winona State faces off against West Chester (PA) on Monday, March 10 at 11:30am EST / 10:30am CST. West Chester (PA) comes into the trip to Florida holding a 0-3 record on the year and faces off against Eckerd College on day one of their spring break trip.
Seton Hill University (PA) is the next matchup for WSU after having a day off in between the previous match and this one. Winona State and the Griffons will be facing off on Wednesday, March 12 at 12pm EST / 11am CST in Coco Beach, Florida.
On Thursday, March 13 at 12pm EST / 11am CST the Warriors have a match against Bryant University who holds a 3-3 record so far this season before entering their spring break trip.
On the final day of the 2025 Spring Break trip, Winona State and St. Thomas Aquinas College have a match on Friday, March 14 at 11am EST / 10am CST back in Orlando, Florida. The Spartans hold a 7-2 record before entering their trip to Florida.
