WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University baseball team is set to hit the road to face against NSIC opponent, the University of Minnesota Crookston.
The Warriors and the Golden Eagles will play a four-game series starting on Saturday, April 5th. The first pitch is set for 1:30pm in Crookston, Minn.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors are 13-12 overall and 9-7 in conference play coming into the weekend.
- Ryland Wall is leading the way at the plate for WSU in batting average with .410.
- Cole Fuecker has been in the batter's box the most for Winona State with 103 at-bats. In those plate appearances, he has recorded 35 runs in 37 hits, nine doubles, two triples, and three home runs.
- Klayton Hawkins is leading the Warriors in slugging percentage with .632.
- Jack Funke leads WSU in on-base percentage with .525.
- George Henkel leads all pitchers with three wins on the season and zero losses, Wesley Johnson is leading the team in innings pitched with 20.1, Cole Stanchina is leading in strikeouts with 25, and Mason Beltrand is leading all relievers in saves with three.
Minnesota Crookston:
- The Golden Eagles are 11-15 overall and 8-8 in conference play coming into the weekend.
- Dylan Debilzen leads the team with a .410 batting average, hits with 41, and doubles with 10.
- Josh Dykhoff leads all batters in RBIs with 29 and home runs with six.
- Dykhoff is leading all pitchers with five wins and one loss on the season, innings pitched with 37.2, and strikeouts with 41, Nate Grafsgaard leads all relievers in saves with five.
