WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University women's tennis team heads to Mankato, Minnesota to face off against the Mavericks from Minnesota State. The match is set to begin on Saturday, April 12 at 3pm.

The Warriors come off a weekend split dropping their contest against Bemidji State 4-3 and coming back the next day defeating the University of Minnesota Crookston 4-3. Winona State has had some close contests this season with seven of their 18 matches so far have been decided by a single point, holding a 3-4 record in those instances.

Minnesota State holds a 10-3 record so far on the year and boast a 7-1 record in the NSIC. Most recently the Mavericks faced off against the University of North Dakota dropping the contest 7-0. MSU Mankato's only loss in conference this season comes from #21 Augustana University.
