LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Winona State University track and field team excelled at the Phil Esten Challenge on Friday, April 18 at UW-La Crosse.
The Warriors started off the Phil Esten Challenge strong with
Sasha Steinbach,
Caitlyn Casella,
Danielle Saydee,
MacKenzie Wissbroecker taking first place in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 47.98. Steinbach then competed in the 100m race and took first with a time of 12.17 seconds. In the 400 meter race,
Alyssa Larson took first place with a time of 58.85.
Regan Feit took second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.21. In the 800 meter race,
Jenna Anders took second with a time of 2:18.69.
Ella Voit took first place in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:51.10. In the 1500 meter race,
Kylie Anderson took second place with a time of 4:39.65.
The Winona State University track and field team will send ladies to the Drake Relay in Des Moines, Iowa starting on Thursday, April 24 going until Saturday, April 26, as well as sending ladies to the Dick & Mary Invite hosed by UW-Eau Claire on Saturday, April 26.
