WARRIORS DEFEAT GOLDEN EAGLES ON THE ROAD

Box Score BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Winona State University women'e tennis team rounded out their NSIC weekend earning a victory against the Golden Eagles from the University of Minnesota Crookston 4-3.

Doubles Action:
Halle Rosentreter and Lainy Ristau competed at the No. 1 doubles spot earning a hard fought victory 7-6. Alexandra Madjun and Skylar Gary competed in the No. 2 doubles earning a critical 6-3 win for the Warriors, giving them the doubles point.

Singles Action:
In the No. 2 singles spot Lainy Ristau got the first point on the board for WSU winning a close match 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. Clara Thoemke kept up her hot play earning a quick victory in the No. 3 singles spot winning 6-4, 6-0. Elysia Beynon got the key point for the Warriors giving them the 4-3 win overall taking her match 6-3, 6-3.

The Warriors are next in action in their final regular season contest against Minnesota State University, Mankato on Saturday, April 12 at 3pm in Mankato, Minnesota.
