WINONA, Minn. - Four members of the Winona State University women's tennis team earned spots on the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Ally Burger,
Miranda Daulong,
Skylar Gary, and
Clara Thoemke represented the Warriors on the 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District Team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District women's tennis team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-American program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Burger, a junior from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, competed in 10 singles matches for the Warriors this season and 15 doubles matches, earning four wins in singles and six in doubles.
Daulong, a junior from Rockwall, Texas, competed in 14 singles matches and nine doubles matches, earning seven wins between the two this season.
Gary, a sophomore from Olathe, Kan., competed in 15 singles matches and 16 doubles matches for Winona State this season, winning seven singles contests and 11 in doubles.
Thoemke, a junior from Inver Grove Heights, Minn., competed in all 19 contests for the Warriors this season, earning an 11-8 overall record in singles and competing in the No. 3 doubles earning seven wins on the year. Thoemke recently earned a spot on the All-NSIC Singles Second Team after her impressive season.
