WINONA, Minn. – Warrior tennis heads to Sioux Falls, S.D. this weekend for a conference slate.
The Warriors are set to square off against the USF Cougars this Friday, April 10th, and the Augustana University Vikings on Saturday, April 11th.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors are 6-12 on the year, and 3-4 in NSIC play.
- Junior Lainy Ristau earned NSIC Player of the Week awards coming off a 4-0 weekend.
- Ristau is 11-7 in singles this year, going 9-7 at the No. 1 spot and 2-0 at the No. 2 spot.
- A team of Ristau and Izabel Barr are 5-2 on the doubles side of the ball, they're 4-2 at the No. 1 doubles spot and 1-0 at the No. 2 doubles spot.
University of Sioux Falls Notes:
- The Cougars are 7-9 this year, and 6-2 in NSIC play.
- Sydney Osburn leads the Cougars in the singles side going 12-5 overall, with a 1-3 record at the No. 1 singles, a 5-0 record at the No. 2 singles, and going 6-2 at the No. 3 singles.
- A team of Osburn and Ella Hancock are 8-5 on the doubles side, going 2-3 at the No.1 doubles spot and 6-2 at the No. 2 doubles spot.
Augustana University Notes:
- The Vikings are 16-2 overall, and 8-0 in NSIC play.
- Fernanda Sandoval is 15-2 on the year in singles, going 6-0 at the No. 2 singles spot, 8-2 at the No. 3 singles spot, and 1-0 at the No. 4 singles spot.
- A team of Rhidaim Yang and Smilte Bakyte are 12-4 in doubles, going 6-1 at the No. 2 doubles spot and 6-3 at the No. 3 doubles spot.
