WINONA, Minn. – Winona State volleyball made quick work of UMary, winning 3-0 to open the road weekend.
The Warriors started off strong, winning the first set 25-17 and continued to be in control of the match winning the second and third set 25-18 and 25-21, respectively.
How it Happened:
The Warriors controlled the first set, dominating the Marauders in hitting percentage 0.250 to 0.024. Defensively, WSU was strong at the net collecting five blocks, allowing for a final score of 25-17.
Winona State dominated the rest of the match, winning set two 25-18 and the third set 25-18. Once again, the WSU offense helped lead the charge hitting 0.316 and 0.289 in the final two sets leading the Warriors to a 3-0 win.
