WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University gymnastics team heads to UW-Oshkosh to compete in their first quadrangular meet of the 2025-26 season. The Warriors are set to compete against the UW-Oshkosh Titans, the UW- Stout Blue Devils, and the Panthers from Greenville University on Saturday, January 3rd with the meet starting at 2 p.m. in Oshkosh, Wis.
Last season, the Warriors were edged out by the Titans 191 to 194.35. The Warriors were led by
Kaylee Bateman on the balance beam and bars,
Gabby Kraft on the vault and floor exercise.
Winona State enters the 2025-26 season lead by seniors:
Kaylee Bateman,
Courtney Knutson,
Lenee Dimkin,
Jessica Miley,
Ashley Phillips, and
Rachel Van Namen. Some other key gymnasts for the Warriors are
Madysen Diskerud and
Gabby Kraft. Kraft and Miley are returning after an excellent 24-25 season, both competing at the NCGA Championship last year.
The Winona State University gymnastic team makes their first road trip to Oshkosh, Wis. on Saturday, January 3rd to compete against the UW-Oshkosh Titans, the UW- Stout Blue Devils, and the Greenville Panthers at 2 p.m. The Warriors' first home meet will be on Friday, January 16th where they will host both UW-Eau Claire and Gustavus Adolphus College with a start time of 5:30pm in McCown Gymnasium.
