WINONA, Minn. – The Warrior track and field team readies to head across the river to the Pat Healy Classic hosted by UW-La Crosse on Saturday, January 24th at 12:00pm in the Hetzel Fieldhouse.

The Warriors continue to build off the momentum of their first meet of the 2026 portion of their season, earning a slew of awards, with a trio of event titles and 20 top five finishers at the Bearson/Gathje Classic.

Winona State Notes:

• Sasha Steinbach took first place honors in the 60m, with a time of 7.74 seconds.
• Alyssa Larson ran a 58.69 400m, being the only sub-minute runner and winning the title.
• Kylie Anderson led a strong Warrior field in the 3000m, finishing 20 seconds ahead of the field. Winning the event in a time of 9:56.24.
• Karissa Birch took fifth in the 200m.
• Caitlyn Casella and Jenna Anders were fourth and fifth in the 400m.
• Josie Tieskoetter and Bailey Sommerville finished second and third in the 600m.
• Yasmin Ruiz-Ruiz took second in the 800.
• Samantha Harke finished third in the 1000m.
• Ella Voit, Stella Rusch, and Kelsey Young finished top five in the 3000m, behind Kylie Anderosn.
• Ella Schueler was a standout in the long jump and triple jump, finishing second and third in the respective events. With a 5.92m long jump ranking 11th in Division II.
• Megan Kreul and Ava Krista took fourth and fifth in the triple jump.

Winona State is set to compete in 11 different events at the Pat Healy Classic.
