LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Warrior Track and Field team took second in the Pat Healy Classic behind the UW-La Crosse Eagles.
Lexi Urbick took 5th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.10.
Stella Richter came in 6th place with a time of 9.27.
Caitlyn Casella ran a 7.92 in the 60m earning herself an 8th place finish.
The Warriors topped the podium on the mile as
Kylie Anderson led the way with a time of 5:02.87. She was followed by
Ella Voit,
Stella Rusch, and
Kelsey Young, all topping the top four for the event.
Karissa Birch and
Alyssa Larson came in fourth and fifth in the 400m for the Warriors with times of 58.08 and 58.20 respectively.
Mady Dockendorf led the way for the Warriors for a 2nd place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:26.37.
Yasmin Ruiz-Ruiz was close behind with a time of 2:27.76 and a 3rd place finish.
Josie Tieskoetter and
Bailey Sommerville rounded out the top of the pack for the Warriors with 5th and 6th place finishes.
Caitlyn Casella came in 8th place in the 200m with a time of 26.25.
A team of
Karissa Birch,
Jenna Anders,
Amber Gerrits, and
Alyssa Larson finished the 4x400 in 4:00.0, earning a 3rd place finish.
Chloe Fratzke jumped 1.58m in the high jump earning a 5th place finish.
Delaney Untz jumped 1.48m earning an 8th place finish.
MacKenzie Wissbroecker jumped 5.60m in the long jump earning a 5th place finish. She was followed by
Ella Schueler who finished 6th, with a 5.57m jump.
Ella Schueler led the way for the Warriors on the triple jump with 11.72m earning a second-place finish. Megan Kruel jumped 11.29m and earned a 5th place finish.
Ava Krista finished 7th with a 11.23m jump.
Winona State is back in action next weekend as they travel to Mankato, Minn. for the Mark Shuck Open on Friday, January 30th through the Saturday the 31st.
