WARRIOR TENNIS IS SET TO KICK OFF A PACKED CONFERENCE WEEKEND WITH THE UMC GOLDEN EAGLES AND THE MSUM DRAGONS

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State tennis team is hosting the University of Minnesota Crookston on Friday, February 13th and the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons on Saturday, February 14th at the Winona Tennis Center.

The Warriors are coming off a 4-3 spring opener win against the SCSU Huskies on Saturday, January 31st.

Winona State Notes:
  • Nikita Agrawal, Lainy Ristau, and Clara Thoemke all lead the Warriors in singles with a record of 2-1.
  • Ristau is 1-1 at the No. 1 singles and 1-0 at the No. 2 singles.
  • Agrawal is 2-0 at the No. 4 singles, and 0-1 at the No. 5 singles.
  • Thoemke is 1-0 at the No. 2 singles, 1-0 at the No. 3 singles, and 0-1 at the No. 4 singles.
  • A team of Ristau and Izabel Barr are 2-0 in doubles, with wins coming at the No. 1 doubles and the No. 2 doubles.
University of Minnesota Crookston Notes:
  • The Golden Eagles are 2-2 on the year.
  • Nadia Cases Mundet is 4-0 in singles.
  • Daniela de Lucas Rivera and Terez Drasilova are 1-3 in doubles.
