WINONA, Minn. – The WSU tennis team split this weekend with UMC and MSUM.
The Warriors lost 4-3 to UMC on Friday, February 13th.
The Golden Eagles won the doubles point. The Warriors only win came from the No. 1 doubles team of
Lainy Ristau and
Ally Burger.
Ristau won at the No. 1 singles. Clara ThoeMke won at the No. 2 singles, and
Nikita Agrawal won at the No. 4 singles.
The Warriors bested the Dragons on senior day, 5 - 2.
A team of Thoemke and
Izabel Barr won at the No. 2 doubles and a team of Agrawal and Ogdahl won at the No. 3 doubles to earn the doubles point for the Warriors.
Thoemke won at the No. 2 singles, followed by wins from Agrawal at the No. 3 singles, a win from Barr at the No. 4 singles, and a win from Burger at the No. 5 singles.
The Warriors will be back in action next week on Sunday, February 22nd against the UMD Bulldogs.
