LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Warrior track and field team showed multiple strong performances at the Caged Eagle Open, hosted by UW-La Crosse at the Hetzel Fieldhouse.
Lexi Terwedo won the 3000m with a time of 10:40.85s. She was followed by
Emily Meyer in fourth place with a time of 10:47.08s.
Cecelia Dittrich finished fifth in the long jump with a distance 17' 1 1/4" (5.21m).
Chloe Fratzke jumped a 5' 1" (1.55m) high jump, placing fifth in a field of twenty-one.
Faith Haffner finished eighth in the in the 200m with a time of 25.93s in a field of forty-five.
Adalyn Barkley came in seventh in the 800m with a time of 2:23.85s, followed closely behind by
Yasmin Ruiz-Ruiz in eighth with a time of 2:24.02s.
Stella Richter finished in fourth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.02s.
Amber Gerrits was close behind in fifth place with a time of 9.12s.
Sam Harke came in ninth with a time of 5:19.12s. in the mile.
The Warriors will be back next week in Mankato, Minn. for the NSIC Indoor Championships, hosted by Minnesota State.
