LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Winona State track and field team ventured over to La Crosse, Wis. to compete at the historic Mark Guthrie Legacy Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse at the Hetzel Fieldhouse.
Lexi Urbick won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.87s. This finish moved her up to third all-time on the WSU all-time top ten list.
A trio of
Kylie Anderson,
Ella Voit, and
Stella Rusch claimed the three through five spots on the podium for the 3000m. Anderson set the pace for the Warriors with a 10:03.87, she was closely followed by Voit at 10:05.04, and Rusch at 10:05.17. This led to Voit and Rusch claiming the seventh and eighth best 3000m in school history.
Karissa Birch finished fifth in a field of thirty-two in the 200m with a time of 25.64s. This pushes her to the ninth spot on the WSU Indoor top ten for the 200m.
A team of Birch, Urbick,
Adalyn Barkley, and
Alyssa Larson came in third in the 4x400, with a time of 3:53.55. The 4x400 is now the third best in the NSIC.
Samantha Harke finished sixth in the mile with a time of 5:18.59. She was closely followed by
Mady Dockendorf in the eighth spot and
Mara Talabac in the ninth.
Larson finished fifth in a field of twenty-seven in the 400m with a time of 58.74s. She was closely followed by
Caitlyn Casella who finished sixth with a time of 59.10s. Barkley finished in ninth with a time of 59.35s.
Jenna Anders finished fifth in a field of twenty-four in the 800m with a time of 2:18.27.
Chloe Fratzke jumped a 5'0 1/4" (1.53m) earning herself a sixth-place finish in the high jump.
Megan Kruel finished fifth in the long jump with a distance 17' 4 1/4" (5.29m).
Ava Krista jumped 16' 10 3/4" (5.15m) which earned her an eleventh-place finish.
Krista led the way on the triple jump with a 37' 8 3/4" (11.50m) jump which earned her a third-place finish. Kreul was close behind with a 36' 11" (11.25m) jump that earned her a sixth-place finish.
The Warriors will be back in action next weekend at Minnesota State for the Ted Nelson Classic on Friday, February 14th.
