WARRIOR TENNIS LOOKS TO GET BACK ON TRACK WITH TRIP TO NORTH DAKOTA

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State tennis team heads to Jamestown, N.D. to take on the University of Jamestown and the University of Mary this weekend.

The Warriors face off with the University of Jamestown Jimmies this Friday, March 20th at 2:30pm, and the University of Mary Marauders on Saturday, March 21st at 9:00am.

Winona State Notes:
  • The Warriors are looking to bounce back after dropping five matches in a row in Florida.
  • Winona State is 4-8 on the year, but 2-1 in NSIC play.
  • Lainy Ristau is 6-6 in singles this year, going 4-6 at the No. 1 singles spot, and 2-0 at the No. 2 singles spot.
  • A team of Izabel Barr and Clara Thoemke are 4-3 in doubles this year, going 4-3 at the No. 2 doubles spot.
University of Jamestown Notes:
  • The Jimmies are 2-3 overall, and 2-2 in NSIC play.
  • Julie van Zeijl is 4-1in singles this year, going 4-1 at the No. 1 singles spot.
  • A team of Julie van Zeijl and Bodil van Zeijl are 5-0 in doubles this year, going 5-0 at the No. 1 doubles spot.
