WARRIOR TENNIS HEADS NORTH FOR CONFERENCE WEEKEND

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State tennis team heads up to Rogers, Minn. to face off against Bemidji State and St. Cloud State.

The Warriors take on the Bemidji State Beavers this Saturday, March 28th at 4:00pm, and then against the St. Cloud State Huskies on Sunday, March 29th at 4:00pm.

Winona State Notes:
  • The Warriors are looking to bounce back after dropping the last seven matches.
  • WSU is 4-10 on the year, going 2-3 in NSIC play.
  • Lainy Ristau is 7-7 in singles, going 5-7 at the No. 1 singles spot and 2-0 at the No. 2 singles spot.
  • A team of Clara Thoemke and Izabel Barr are 4-3 in doubles, going 4-3 at the No. 2 doubles spot.
Bemidji State Notes:
  • The Beavers are 9-4 on the year, going 3-3 in NSIC play.
  • Paula Garcia Acebal is 7-5 in singles, going 2-0 at the No.1 singles spot and 5-5 at the No. 2 singles spot.
  • A team of Garcia Acebal and Lauren Rutten are 8-2 in doubles, going 1-0 at the No. 1 doubles spot and 7-2 at the No. 2 spot.
St. Cloud State Notes:
  • The Huskies are 3-8 on the year, going 1-3 in NSIC play.
  • Brooklyn Broadwell is 9-2 in singles, going 4-1 at the No. 4 singles spot and 5-1 at the No. 5 singles spot.
  • Lara-maria Schaefer and Liliana Ruy Sanchez Mendivil are 5-6 in doubles, doings 5-6 at the No. doubles spot.
