ROGERS, Minn. – The Winona State tennis team bested the Bemidji State Beavers 4 to 3 in today's match.
The Warrior's did not pick up the doubles point, with the sole victory coming at the No. 1 doubles spot from the team of
Lainy Ristau and
Izabel Barr who won 6-4.
Four Warrior's picked up wins in the singles column. The Warrior's wins came from Ristau at the No.1 singles spot,
Clara Thoemke at the No. 4 singles spot, Barr at the No. 5 singles spot, and
Debbie Ogdahl at the No. 6 singles spot. Ristau won at the No. 1 singles spot scoring (5-7, 6-3, 6-2). Thoemke won at the No. 4 singles spot (6-0,6-1). Barr won at the No. 5 singles spot (6-1, 4-6, 6-2). Ogdahl won at the No. 6 singles spot (2-6, 6-1, 6-4).
The Warriors are back in action against St. Cloud State on Sunday, March 29th at 4:00pm.
