WINONA, Minn. – The Warriors baseball team travels to Concordia-St. Paul for a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 31, starting at 12:00pm.
The teams split 1-1 in last year's matchups with Winona State grabbing a 14-10 win in game two.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors (11-14, 6-6 NSIC) are coming off a series loss to the UMary Marauders at Loughrey Field.
- Winona State enters the 2026 season ranked 10th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll after finishing tied for ninth in 2025.
- Head Coach Seth Wing is in his fourth season in the Warrior dugout in 2026 and his 14th year overall as an NCAA baseball coach. Wing holds a 78-98 record in his tenure with WSU.
- Easton Arendt has been a mainstay in the Warriors order with a .320 batting average (24-for-75) and .452 on-base percentage while leading the team in starts at 24.
- Adam Wall powers the Warriors with a team-high 18 RBIs and four home runs while adding 20 hits in the 2026 season.
- As a team, WSU holds a .255 batting average and a .367 on-base percentage through 25 games.
- Sawyer Hoffman (2-2) leads the pitching staff with a 4.80 ERA in 30.0 innings, allowing 36 hits and 16 earned runs across six appearances. Hunter Guenther (2-2) holds a 5.29 ERA and a team-best 36 strikeouts. Guenther posted a dominant 6.0 inning performance, allowing one earned run in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning win over UMary.
- The Warriors pitching staff composes a 5.31 ERA with 192 strikeouts in 195.0 innings pitched.
- Following their matchup with the Golden Bears, Winona State is scheduled to play Jamestown in a three-game series later in the week.

- The Golden Bears (10-17, 5-10 NSIC) enter the week on a seven-game losing streak after a three-game sweep at the hands of Minnesota State.

- Concordia-St. Paul has tallied a .272 team batting average and .392 on-base percentage so far in the 2026 campaign.
