WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University baseball team is set to play six games down in Florida for their spring break trip.

The Warriors will play six games starting on Friday, March 6, with a contest against Davis & Elkins College. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00pm EST/ 1:00pm CST. WSU concludes their trip on Wednesday, March 11 versus Wayne State University.

Winona State Notes:

• The Warriors (4-3, 1-2 NSIC) are coming off a 2-2 series split against the Minot State Beavers.
• Winona State enters the 2026 season ranked tenth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll after finishing T-ninth in 2025.
• Head Coach Seth Wing heads into his fourth season in the Warrior dugout in 2026 and enters his 14th year overall as an NCAA baseball coach. Wing holds a 71-87 record in his tenure with WSU.
• Dylan Harer racked up seven hits, good for a .500 batting average over the weekend against the Beavers.
• Easton Arendt leads the squad with a .450 batting average (nine-of-20) while Adam Wall spearheads the Warriors with 10 RBIs, including a grand slam last weekend.
• Wesley Johnson picked up a win in relief over Minot State on February 27, 2026. He went 4.1 scoreless innings of six strikeout ball while allowing only one hit.
• Sawyer Hoffman holds a 3.38 ERA for WSU in 8.0 innings, allowing six hits and three earned runs in his two relief appearances. Hoffman tops the Warriors pitching staff with 11 strikeouts on the year.
• Following the Spring Break Trip, Winona State heads to Sioux Falls for a four-game series starting on Saturday, March 14 and concluding the following day on Sunday, March 15.
