Winona State women's tennis continued their Spring Break trip today, competing against California (PA) in Cocoa Beach, Fla. The Warriors were unable to come out on top in multiple matches and took the 7-0 loss.
In doubles play,
Lainy Ristau and
Ally Burger fell 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. In the second spot,
Izabel Barr and
Clara Thoemke batted but fell 6-4 as well as California (PA) took the doubles point. In singles, Thoemke and
Nikita Agrawal each battled to third set tiebreakers but were unable to close out the matches.
Winona State will compete in a pair of matches tomorrow before enjoying a day off on Wednesday.
Warrior softball and baseball each had their off days today and will be back in action tomorrow. Men's and women's golf will tee off on Wednesday for their two-day event in Henderson, Nev.
