WAYNE, Neb. – Winona State women's golf will compete at the Wildcat Invitational this week.
The Wayne State Invitational is hosted at Wayne Country Club in Wayne, Neb. with 15 teams competing at the event. The event will begin on Monday, April 13th with first tee beginning at 11:30am and will continue until Tuesday, April 14th.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors recently finished in sixth place at the Upper Iowa Invitational last week.
- Megan Young leads the Warriors with an average score of 79.5 and two top 10 finishes at the USF Invitational and the Jewel Invitational.
- Kessa Mara closely follows with an average score of 80.1 and a top three finish at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational.
- Georgia Volley holds an average score of 79.8 with her best event coming at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite last week, finishing 11th.
- Lindsey Lund wraps up the Warriors with a top ten finish this season and an average score of 80.8.
- The Winona State Warriors have three top three finishes so far this season.
