WARRIORS HEAD TO SMSU, HOST WAYNE STATE FOR WEEKEND SERIES

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State baseball team travels to Southwest Minnesota State for a midweek doubleheader on Wednesday, April 15. Then, the Warriors host Wayne State for a three-game series, starting on Saturday, April 18.

WSU split a four-game series with the Mustangs last year, while being swept by the Wildcats in a three-game series to close out the 2025 campaign. First pitch of the doubleheader against SMSU is set for 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 15.

Winona State Notes:
  • The Warriors (15-19, 10-11 NSIC) are coming off a 1-2 series loss at St. Cloud State, highlighted by a 12-8 victory in game three.
  • Winona State enters the 2026 season ranked 10th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll and are currently eighth in the 2026 NSIC standings.
  • Head Coach Seth Wing is in his fourth season in the Warrior dugout in 2026 and his 14th year overall as an NCAA baseball coach. Wing holds an 82-103 record in his tenure with WSU.
