STRONG PERFORMANCES HIGHLIGHT BUSY WEEKEND FOR WARRIOR TRACK AND FIELD

WINONA, Minn. – Warrior track and field had a slew of standout performances to highlight an impressive weekend.

Ella Voit set the new school record in the 3000m steeplechase at the Byran Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific. Voit finished 22nd with a time of 10:27.32, this earned her the rank of number two in NCAA Division II.

Stella Rusch finished fifth in the 5000m with a time of 16:58.62 at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Rusch is currently in number three in NCAA Division II, ranked behind teammate Kylie Anderson.

Ella Schueler finished 13th in the triple jump with a distance of 38' 7.5" (11.77m), at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Lexi Urbick finished 21st in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.80s.

The 4x400 relay team of Alyssa Larson, Adalyn Barkley, Karissa Birch and Urbick finished sixth in a competitive field of 18 with multiple DI opponents at the Bryan Clay Invitational. This finish now sets them at the new rank of number two in NCAA Division II.

Schuler finished eighth in the long jump, jumping 18' 6" (5.64m) at the Bryan Clay Invitational earning the rank of 33rd in NCAA Division II.

Sasha Steinbach finished fourth in the 200m at the Cal State Twilight Open with a time of 24.74s. Steinbach set a new personal best, while jumping to 91st in NCAA Division II.

Larson finished first in the 400m with a new personal best of 56.49s and the new rank of 96th in NCAA Division II. Birch followed behind with a personal best of 56.94s finishing fourth in the event at the Cal State Twilight Open.

Urbick finished third in the 400m hurdles at the Cal State Twilight Open with a time of 1:02.20, earning the rank of 55th in NCAA Division II.

The 4x100m relay team of Steinbach, Schueler, Birch and MacKenzie Wissbroecker finished second at the Cal State Twilight Open with a time of 47.36s. This finish earned the team the rank of 67th in NCAA Division II.

Kelsey Young won the 5000m at the Phil Esten Challenge in 18:07.45. Teammate Kelly McCarthy finished eighth with a time of 19:19.16.

Reese Kuhlman finished 23rd in the 400m with a time of 1:00.75. Teammate Jadence Nagel finished 29th with a time of 1:02.03.

Stella Richter finished fifth in the 100m hurdles in 14.58s.

Lexi Terwedo led the Warriors in the 800m. Terwedo finished 15th in 2:22.55. Teammate Samantha Harke followed in 17th with a time of 2:23.00. Mady Dockendorf finished 21st with a time of 2:23.98.

Caitlyn Casella finished 18th in the 200m in 25.42s.

Mara Talabac set a new personal best in the 1500m finishing 14th in 4:43.38.

Chloe Fratzke finished sixth in the high jump. Fratzke jumped 5' 3" (1.60m).

Cecelia Dittrich came in seventh in the long jump. Dittrich jumped 17' 7.5" (5.37m).

Ava Krista jumped 37' 4.5" (11.39m) in the triple jump earning a fifth-place finish.

The Warriors will be back in action next weekend at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa Thursday, April 23rd through Saturday, April 25th.
