WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's golf team will prepare for the 2026 NSIC Championship Tournament this week.
The 2026 NSIC Women's Golf Championship will be held in Blue Springs, Mo. at the Adams Pointe Golf Club. The championship will consist of a 54-hole tournament comprised of three competition days of 18 holes each. The event will begin on Wednesday, April 22nd and will continue until Friday, April 25th.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors most recently finished in eighth place at the Wildcat Classic last week.
- Kessa Mara has had a solid season with an average score of 80.4 and a top three finish at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational.
- Megan Young leads the Warriors with an average score of 79.8 and two top 10 finishes at the USF Invitational and the Jewel Invitational.
- Georgia Volley holds an average score of 79.8 with her best event coming at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite last week, finishing 11th.
- Lindsey Lund has helped bring up the Warriors with a top ten finish this season and an average score of 80.8.
- New addition, Taylor LeMire has found herself in the loop for WSU with an average score this season of 84.7.
- Maeve McDougal rounds out the Warriors lineup with an average score of 83.8 and a top 20 finish at the Las Vegas Warrior Women's Invitational.
