WINONA, Minn. – The Warriors baseball team looks to continue its recent successes with a home doubleheader against Minnesota State and a road three-game series versus Minnesota Crookston.
WSU hosts MSU on Wednesday, April 22 with a first pitch of 1:30pm. Then, the squad heads to Crookston for a series starting on Saturday, April 25. First pitch of the series is slated for 1:30pm on Saturday.
Winona State split a doubleheader with the #8 Mavericks last year, including a walk-off hit by
Ben Hefel in game two. The Warriors split a four-game series against the Golden Eagles in 2025.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors (20-19, 15-11 NSIC) are coming off a series sweep against the Wayne State Wildcats last weekend.
- Winona State enters the 2026 season ranked 10th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll and have moved up to fifth in the 2026 NSIC standings.

Both Hoffman and Guenther earned wins in last week's games against WSC, while both striking out eight batters apiece in their victories.
