WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State baseball team will travel to St. Cloud, Minn., to take on the Huskies for a three-game series, with the slate starting on Friday, April 10 and concluding on Saturday, April 11.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors (14-17, 9-9 NSIC) are coming off a split doubleheader against Augustana on Thursday.
- Winona State enters the 2026 season ranked 10th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll after finishing tied for ninth in 2025. The Warriors are currently eighth in the NSIC standings.
- Head Coach Seth Wing is in his fourth season in the Warrior dugout in 2026 and his 14th year overall as an NCAA baseball coach. Wing holds an 80-100 record in his tenure with WSU.
- Max Pederson has been a consistent member behind the plate for the Warriors. He holds a .343 batting average (23-for-67) and .436 on-base percentage.
- Easton Arendt leads the lineup with 24 hits while Adam Wall powers the team with 22 RBI and five home runs.

- Hunter Guenther (3-2) leads the pitching staff with a 4.62 ERA in 39.0 innings, allowing 36 hits and 20 earned runs across seven starts. Sawyer Hoffman (2-2) is right behind with a 4.63 ERA and 38 strikeouts.
- The Warriors pitching staff composes a 5.03 ERA with 210 strikeouts in 225.1 innings pitched.
St. Cloud State Notes:
- The Huskies (15-14, 11-5 NSIC) are coming off a doubleheader sweep of Minnesota Duluth.
- SCSU enters the 2026 season ranked third in the Preseason Coaches' Poll and are third in the current standings.
- St. Cloud State has tallied a .312 team batting average and .412 on-base percentage so far in the 2026 campaign.
- Wilmis Castro powers the lineup with a .377 BA, 40 hits, 13 doubles, six home runs, and four triples in 2026.
- The SCSU pitching staff posts a 6.32 ERA, holding opponents to a .281 batting average. St. Cloud State has given up 273 hits while striking out 243 batters in 243.1 innings of work.
