LEXI URBICK AND ELLA VOIT QUALIFY FOR NCAA DIVISION II OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

WINONA, Minn. – Winona State track and field student-athletes Ella Voit and Lexi Urbick qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field championships in the 3000m steeplechase and 400m hurdles taking place in Emporia, Kan. on Thursday, May 21st through Saturday, May 23rd.

Voit, a sophomore from Sauk Rapids, Minn., had an impressive sophomore campaign. Voit was the 2026 NSIC champion in the 3000m steeplechase and set the new school record in the 3000m steeplechase at the 2026 Bryan Clay Invitational.

Urbick, a freshman from Winona, Minn., had a record-breaking freshman year. Urbick broke and set new records in the 100m hurdles and the 400m hurdles this outdoor season. Urbick was the 2026 NSIC champion in the 400m hurdles with her record setting performance at the 2026 NSIC Outdoor Championships.

Voit and Urbick are set to compete in their respective events in Emporia, Kan. on Thursday, May 21st through Saturday, May 23rd.
