BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. --- The Winona State women's golf team opened its 2026-27 season at the Central Region Preview, which Oklahoma Baptist hosted at Adams Pointe Golf Course in Blue Springs, Mo., Sept. 8-9. The Warriors finished 15th with 644 strokes.
Nebraska Kearney won the event with 575 strokes. The Warriors finished eight strokes behind Southwest Minnesota State for 14th place and 13 strokes ahead of Southern Nazarene.
Maeve McDougal led the Warriors, finishing 38th with a 12-over-par score.
Taylor LeMire followed with a 13-over-par score, tying for 44th, while
Megan Young finished 65th at 19-over par.
Kendyl Conrad finished 78th at 24-over par, while
Tara Eckes placed 88th at 42-over par to round out the Warriors' scorers.
Winona State will return to action at the Golden Bear Invitational in Hudson, Wis., Sept. 14-15.
