The Winona State athletic department wants to make everyone aware of the parking situation around Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium in advance of Saturday's home football game vs. Minot State and beyond.
 
There currently is a construction project underway to build pedestrian tunnels under the railroad tracks near the entrance to the stadium.  This project is impacting the number of parking spots in the lot directly outside the stadium.  To make things as convenient as possible, we are shifting the lots we have available to season ticket holders and parking pass holders.
 
This season, the lot just outside the Integrated Wellness Center (corner of Mark Street and Main Street) will be utilized for season ticket holders and parking pass holders only.  This means that only cars with parking passes will be permitted to park in that lot, via the Main Street entrance.  In addition, the lot located on the corner of Sarnia Street and Main Street will be used for parking pass holders, as in years past.  The remaining spots in the Stadium Lot will be utilized for our suite holders only.
 
We encourage season ticket holders and parking pass holders to utilize the Integrated Wellness Center Lot for a few reasons.  First, the team will be walking through a portion of that lot for their pregame team walk.  We would love for you to support the Warriors on their way to the field by parking in that lot!  Next, once the tunnel project is complete, the tailgate tent and pre-game area will be located near the entrance to the tunnels, on the Mark Street side of the railroad tracks.  The future of tailgating for Warrior Football games is very exciting with the plans for the tailgate and pregame activities in this new area.  Finally, this lot is going to be able to fit more Warrior fans than any lot has in the past.  With that many Warrior fans in one spot, this lot will give us a great atmosphere for college football pregame!
 
To review, general season ticket holders and parking pass holders have two options for game-day parking: 1) The preferred lot, located outside the Integrated Wellness Center (corner of Mark Street and Main Street via the Main Street entrance, number 61 on the map below) or 2) the lot located on the corner of Sarnia Street and Main Street (number 38 on the map).  Only suite holder parking passes will be used for the Stadium Lot (number 21 on the map).  Again, ONLY cars with parking passes will be permitted to park in these lots.
 
Any fan without a parking pass can park along the streets around the stadium or the lot located at the corner of Sarnia Street and Huff Street (across the street from Kwik Trip).  Parking passes, good for all games this season, will be available to purchase at $75 each at the Integrated Wellness Center lot and the lot on the corner of Sarnia Street and Main Street.
