The Wildcats are led by Kelsie Cada with 3.35 kills per set, Rachel Walker with 10.21 assists per set, and Alaina Wolff with 3.29 digs per set. The Warriors lost to Wayne State the last time the two teams faced off, but WSU has won five of the last six matches against the Wildcats.

The Warriors are led offensively by Megan Flom, who is averaging 3.84 kills per set at a hitting percentage of .420, both good for top-five in the NSIC. Bre Maloney's 11.29 assists per set have her at second in the NSIC individual standings. Defensively, Becca Pagel leads the NSIC with 4.99 digs per set.

Each team won their opening match of the weekend, with the Winona State beating Augustana 3-1 and Wayne State taking down Upper Iowa 3-0.

With less than half of the conference season left, Joe Getzin and the Warriors are looking to pick up a win against Wayne State in a matchup that has both conference and regional implications.
