ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Winona State women's track & field team looks to complete the 2021 outdoor season in strong form this weekend, as seven Warriors are set to line up at the 2021 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Grand Valley State University on May 27 - 29 in Allendale, Michigan.
For Winona State, the 4X400 meter relay team of
Kalley Harris,
Kendall Zeman,
Shereen Vallabouy and
Brooklyn Schyvinck are slated to start their chase of a NCAA Division II medal in the second heat of the prelims. The Warriors will run against Lewis University, Pittsburg State, Fresno Pacific, Saginaw Valley State and Hillsdale College.
Also in the relays, the 4X100 meter relay team of
Michaela Pryor,
Brooklyn Schyvinck,
Maddy Pietz and
Kaylee Olson are set to compete in the first of the 4X100, with eyes on earning a trip to the finals. WSU will race against the Academy of Art, Minnesota State - Mankato, Southwest Baptist, the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs and host Grand Valley State for the right to advance to the finals.
The first round of the women's 4X100 relay is scheduled for 4:15pm EST Thursday. Competition in the women's 4x400 race is set to start at 5:40pm EST on Friday.
