WINONA, Minn. -- The Winona State University women's track and field team travels to Mankato on Friday, May 7 for the final regular season competition of the 2021 outdoor season, as the Warriors prep for the 2021 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships to be held on May 14-15 in Duluth, Minn.
In Mankato, WSU will compete on familiar ground, having attended the Maverick Spring Invitational and the NSIC Outdoor Challenge during the outdoor season, as well as the Mark Schuck Dual and the President Davenport Classic over the course of the indoor campaign.

at this link. With the end of the outdoor season in sight, several Warriors are found among the NCAA Division II qualifiers across the country.
In the current rankings,
Michaela Pryor is currently 17th in the country in the 200-meter race, having turned in a time of 24.17 at the NSIC Outdoor Challenge last week. At the same event,
Shereen Vallabouy recorded a 55.66 in the 400-meters, and was a part of the 4X400 Warrior relay team that had a 3:45.64 clocking, teaming up with
Maddy Pietz,
Kendall Zeman and
Brooklyn Schyvinck to turn in the eight-best time in the country so far this season.
At Winona State's own Battle for the Paddle, the 4X100 relay team of Pryor, Schyvinck, Pietz and Vallabouy had a 46.53 time, which is 19th in the nation. Also, at the Concordia - St. Paul Holst Invitational,
Kalley Harris ran a 1:00.85, good for 11th nationally.
In Mankato, the field events at the Maverick Classic will commence on Friday at 3pm; running events start at 5pm.
