Box Score WINONA, Minn. - The #10 ranked Winona State University volleyball team was looking forward to finally playing at home after two successive weeks on the road but the (RV) Northern State Wolves spoiled the home opener for the Warriors, dealing WSU a 3-0 (21-25, 21-25, 26-28) setback.

The two teams were almost even in total kills - NSU 49, WSU 48 - and the Warrior defensive effort showed positively, collecting 61 total digs. However, NSU was credited with eight blocks, compared to five for the Warriors, and all six aces in the match went the way of the Wolves.Â
