ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Winona State University women's basketball team opens up the away portion of their NSIC schedule on Saturday, Dec. 3 as WSU travels to Concordia, St. Paul for a 1 p.m. contest in the Ganglehoff Center in St. Paul.
Winona State is 7-1 on the year, falling for the first time on Thursday, having been dealt a 88-69 setback by nationally-ranked Minnesota State. Prior to the loss to the Mavericks, the Warriors had reeled off seven straight wins under first-year head coach
Ana Wurtz. Alex Dornfled has been a catalyst for Winona State success, providing WSU both offensive output and a reliable force on the boards.

WARRIOR NOTABLES
- The Warriors were selected 11th overall and 5th in the NSIC South by coaches around the league.
- Head coach Ana Wurtz and assistant coach Hannah McGlone are the only all-female coaching staff in the NSIC that also competed at their alma mater as student-athletes.
