BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Abraham Elmore has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after an outstanding performance at The Legacy Invitational.

Elmore, a senior from Mesa, Ariz., led Winona State with a five-over par, 149 (75-74), and finished tied for fourth out of 95 golfers at The Legacy Invitational, a two-day event hosted in Henderson, Nev.

Elmore's consistent play helped the Warriors finish tied for third in the team event consisting of 18 teams. WSU's finish was their second-consecutive finish inside the top four during their spring break trip to Nevada.

Winona State will next be in action on March 28-29 at the NSIC Conference Preview in Blue Springs, Mo. The tournament, hosted by Winona State, is the second-to-last event for the Warriors before the NSIC Championships on April 14-16.
