Warrior Game Day: Women's Tennis

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Winona State University women's tennis team will take on Southwest Minnesota State University in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Tennis Tournament semifinals at 2:00pm today, April 23.

The Warriors and Mustangs are two of four teams remaining in the NSIC Tournament, with both semifinal matches beginning at 2:00pm at Huether Family Match Pointe in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Winona State defeated SMSU on Feb. 25 by a score of 6-1. The Warriors swept the doubles matches and won five of six singles matches, all in straight sets, to run away with a victory.

WSU will look to clinch a berth in the NSIC Tournament championship match for the second consecutive year under head coach Tom Sanvik.
