Shereen Vallabouy repeats as National Champion, WSU earns best-ever team finish at NCAA DII Indoor Finals

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Shereen Vallabouy repeated as the NCAA Division II champion in the indoor 400-meters, recording a time of 52.27, the fourth-fastest time in NCAA Division II history.  

Vallabouy's national championship on Saturday was the third individual crown of her Warrior career, having won the 400-meter indoor and outdoor national championships in 2022.

National champion Lindsay Cunningham, the 5000-meter race winner on Friday, finished fourth in the 3000-meters with a time of 9:10.46 on Saturday, earning two more All-America honors to her trophy case.

Kaylee Beyer finished fourth in the mile, running a time of 4:51.66, also claiming All-American status for Winona State and longtime head coach Mason Rebarchek.

Vallabouy anchored the Winona State 4X400 relay team which finished third combining with Warrior teammates Brooklyn Schyvinck, Regan Feit and Alyssa Larson. WSU ran a 3:42.53 in the relay, 

The fifth place finish for Winona State was the highest ever for the program at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships.
