WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University tennis team will host two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) opponents over the weekend of Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1.
WSU will host Augustana University at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Both matches will be played in the Winona Tennis Center, located on the campus of Cotter Schools in Winona.
Winona State is 8-5 on the season and is coming off a split this past weekend on the road at St. Cloud State and the University of Minnesota Duluth. WSU fell to SCSU 4-3, but rebounded to beat UMD 6-1.
The NSIC tennis season moves into the homestretch for Winona State with the final four matches of the season significantly impacting the postseason race. After hosting the Vikings and Cougars, Winona State will travel to the University of Mary on Saturday, April 15 and Minnesota State Moorhead on Sunday, April 16.
