WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University track and field team will be well-represented at the 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, set to be held on May 25-27 at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
Heading into the finals, Winona State standout
Lindsay Cunningham brings to the competition the nation's top 10,000-meter time this year, having set a season-best mark of 32:43.64 at the Mt. SAC relays on April 12. In addition, Cunningham will compete in the 5,000-meters at CSU-Pueblo as well, having clocked in at 15:45.91 at the Drake Relays on April 26. Both of Cunningham's times established new Winona State records in the respective events; the junior from Wisconsin Dells, Wis. time of 32:43.64 was the third-fastest 10K time ever in NCAA Division II history.
Joining Cunningham as one of the event favorites in the individual competition will be
