HUDSON, Wis. - The Winona State University women's golf team is set to tee off at the 2023 Fall Brawl in Hudson, Wis. on Monday, Sept. 18 and Tuesday, Sept .19. The Fall Brawl is hosted by Minnesota State University and Concordia University St. Paul.
The Warriors most recently took part in the Central Region Preview, claiming third place as a team. Playing in Blue Springs, Mo. WSU standout
Carly Moon earned a fifth-place finish after shooting a 151 (+17). Moon rebounded from a 78 (+6) day one total to card one the best rounds individually of any participant on day two, coming in with a 73 (+1).
Rachel Henderson joined Moon in the top 15 with a 153 (+9) score. Henderson shot a 73 (+1) on day one and a 80 (+8) second day total.
In addition to Winona State, the Fall Brawl will welcome several NSIC schools including Concordia-St. Paul, Bemidji State, University of Mary, Augustana, Minnesota Crookston, Minot State and Sioux Falls. St. Catherine and Upper Iowa will also be in the field. The event is hosted by the The Troy Burne Golf Course, a par 71 course.

Jeff Straight and the WSU will follow this week's competition with the Warriors own Watkins Invitational held at The Bridges in Lake City, Minn. on Monday, Sept. 25 and Tuesday, Sept. 26. Winona State is the defending champion in the event and
Carly Moon claimed the individual honors last fall.
The three-round NSIC Women's Golf Championship will take place next spring on April 26-28 at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Missouri.
